Overall a pleasant day for doing something different with Venus trine Uranus, just be aware of the Moon opposition Pluto in the afternoon.
9:51am – Moon (Cancer) trine Neptune (Pisces) A pleasant Moon aspect that makes you feel connected to everyone. Good feelings abound.
5:03pm – Moon (Cancer) opposition Pluto (Capricorn) People get intensely protective. Outer world seems cruel, so people want to crawl into their shell. Inhibits emotional expression while giving an intense burst of energy to transform your emotional foundation. Can be disruptive.
9:07pm – Venus (Leo) trine Uranus (Aires) Wonderful aspect for a weekend. Likely everyone will want to something different today. And it’s fire signs, so physical activity is a great way to express this aspect. Stagnant energies are overcome and cleared out with ease and without inhibition. Easy to correct yourself and change (Uranus) the way you relate to others (Venus). Easy to forgive others as well as you are more able to appreciate the evolution of others. More enlightened view of others and ability to appreciate the differences in others. Good aspect for learning, especially something new. Also great for attending a festival or concert, it is sure to be enlightening today.
Good day for relationships which are sure to be more exciting and electric than usual. Relationships that start today will have a freedom-loving quality that will enable both to evolve.
A Monday to get ahead. Dress for success.
4:25am – Moon (Cancer) sextile Jupiter (Virgo) Emotions expand, optimistic, yet careful.
8:31am – Moon (Cancer) square Uranus (Aires) Independent, smarter. Break from stagnant energy. Increases mobility if you know how to use it.
10:49am – Sun (Leo) trine Saturn (Sagittarius) Today it’s hard not to feel good about yourself. Everyone will be more mature, realistic, have a good grip on reality and most of all, able to see where they are going in life. A good time to make plans for the future. Relations with authority figures are better than usual and you are content with making progress without the need for immediate gratification. Although today might be a good day to ask for a raise.
Saturn is our grip on reality and the trine to the Sun in Leo means that it feels good and looks good to be more like Saturn, that is more mature, more professional and to use better judgment. A good day to seek advice from an older and/or wiser person. Just be sure they have your confidence in trust.
Fire signs so there is inspiration and creativity as well, even though Saturn limits or slows down. You just might find the slow pace of Saturn enables you to focus more on your creative work, thereby giving more assurance that you will succeed in whatever task you are doing. This highlights the best part of this aspect; you can use it for almost any activity you set your mind to. Whatever you do, you do more methodically, carefully, intelligently and with an eye toward future gain. So today is a day to put effort into getting ahead in life in some way. Because Saturn is moving so slow and getting ready to go Direct, this aspect could slow folks down quite a bit.
5:44pm – Moon (Cancer) trine Mars (Scorpio) Ego and emotions flow smoothly together. Strong burst of emotional energy to disrupt your life in a good way. Void of Course begins.
6:12pm – Moon enters Leo. Looking to get on stage and show the world what you can do. Good time for romance and any creative display.
10:49am – Mars enters Sagittarius. In that sign until September 28. Now that Mars is Direct, it returns to complete its’ passage through Sagittarius. Mars undergoes a phase of growth and expansion. Mars in Sagittarius loves to run, play sports, spar over intellectual pursuits, gamble, and is generally boisterous and feels lucky. On the excessive side, it is bombastic and professorial, on the not too excessive side, it loves knowledge and wisdom like a plants loves fertilizer. It’s food for growth. Confident and inspirational, people can express their ego with fewer inhibitions and have the optimism and wisdom to avoid serious arguments. At this time people are more interested in expanding their ego rather than facing a serious fight to the finish. It is a time of pushing the envelope and seeing how far you can go, phase of initiation and change, so it’s a good time to start projects, especially those that will help your career and gain you friends and associates (4th quadrant).
11:47am – Moon (Leo) trine Saturn (Sagittarius) Emotions are balanced and in harmony with your better judgment. Fire signs make it rather positive and inspirational, sure to bring up good feelings.
1:44pm – Moon conjunct Sun (Leo) New Moon at 11d. Check to see where that is in your chart. The location of the New Moon is the house where you find balance between the will and the emotions. It’s a powerful emotional seed that when planted properly, will bear fruit before the end of the month.
A look at the chart of the New Moon reveals some interesting details for the coming month. Notice Sun and Moon quincunx Neptune, so we are looking to make a precise adjustment to our beliefs. Also trine to Saturn, so we are capable of structuring ourselves and don’t need outside authority to get our lives together. Venus and Mercury square Mars means our egos will need some adjustment, but the approaching Mars conjunct Saturn helps give the ego some maturity and focus on realistic goals.
Easy going Wednesday.
2:22pm – Moon (Leo) trine Uranus (Aires) Want to try something new. Easy to overcome inhibitions.
9:13pm – Moon conjunct Venus (Leo) Feelings and emotions in harmony, easy to express yourself. Easy to have a good time tonight. Void of Course begins.
Trial and Error Thursday.
12:34am – Moon enters Virgo. For the next couple days good time to attend to work, health and mundane affairs. Emotions turn critical, in need of a precise adjustment. Heart opens to help others. Virgo rules the digestive tract, where we absorb the goodness of what we take into your stomach (Moon), so we always grow with the Moon in Virgo.
1:43am – Moon (Virgo) square Mars (Sagittarius) Challenge to express yourself in a sensitive manner, but you’ll be sleeping.
2:44pm – Moon conjunct Mercury (Virgo) Emotions become concerned with mundane affairs. Energy of the Moon diffuses into many different tasks that it does with precision. Good for driving and communication.
7:02pm – Moon (Virgo) square Saturn (Sagittarius) Feeling a bit isolated and stagnant as security concerns weight heavy on the mind. Do something to give yourself some certainty, some hope.
9:58pm – Moon (Virgo) opposition Neptune (Pisces) Strong impulse to feel what others are feeling. Overwhelmed by others, isolation often is preferred. Sometimes the heart needs to expand without you necessarily feeling good about it, but because someone else needs it. Just be careful of deception.
5:53am – Moon (Virgo) trine Pluto (Capricorn) A powerful burst of creative energy to get people moving on Friday morning. Earth signs means people are feeling really sensual.
8:27am – Venus enters Virgo. In that sign until August 31. It’s generally thought that Venus does not do well in Virgo. The critical, materialistic nature of Virgo does not bring out the warmth of Venus. However, Venus is very smart and discriminating in Virgo and in fact rather amorous. The reason is that now people are working (Virgo) with their feelings (Venus), so they use their Venus nature like a tool and want to apply it. The funny thing is that with Venus in it’s death cycle, people are not really in touch with their feelings that well.
Now is a good time to attend to your health needs, especially with Mercury in Virgo now as well. With Venus, people don’t just want to feel healthy, they want to look healthy as well. So this likely starts of a time of more Yoga classes and gym classes.
Virgo says “I assimilate” or “I digest” and the interesting thing about the action of Virgo on the feminine planets (Moon in Virgo today as well) is that is causes a strong burst of energy that is sustained and compelling, much like Scorpio. However, with Virgo, the goal is perfection, not power. Virgo rules work. Venus needs to get to work now and perfect itself. It is now in it’s death cycle, and its’ energy is dissipating into the minutiae of daily work. Here Venus feels the disappointment of unfulfilled expectations from the current cycle and vows to get better in preparation for the next cycle, which begins with Libra.
Although there is a down side, the upside is that in the letting go process, we learn to accept our mistakes so that we can move forward. If we dwell on the past, criticize and blame others then we loose the strength to work on ourselves and make the necessary corrections. However, if we are humble and share our warmth unconditionally (Pisces) then the beauty of Venus still has a chance to shine during this death cycle. Helping those whom society has swept under the rug is a good outlet for this energy.
8:20pm – Moon conjunct Jupiter (Virgo). It’s that time of the month when we want to be in a crowd. No better aspect for it. Good time to socialize and expand your emotional self. Void of Course begins. Continues until tomorrow late morning.
Restless Saturday. Begin the day with Moon Void of Course.
9:57am – Moon enters Libra. Relationships on everyone’s mind for the next couple of days. Etiquette and willingness to meet the emotional needs of others are a necessity.
6:18am – Mercury (Virgo) square Saturn (Sagittarius) A challenge to overcome limited thinking. The mundane, materialistic Mercury in Virgo is challenged to see the big picture. Limited by the need to maintain reputation and standing, Mercury obsesses over details.
We have two Virgo to Sagittarius squares today. The theme is that the mind overwhelms itself moving from one thing to another so fast that there isn’t enough time to absorb anything properly, so nothing satisfies. This is where the restless energy comes from. There is a tendency to want to take in a lot of information and digest it too quickly, thereby loosing the value of it. Failure often means just moving onto the next thing without realizing what went wrong because the excessive, broad approach of Sagittarius leave no time to process (Virgo). Disappointment comes when we seek truth and wisdom (Sagittarius) but fall short of expectations due to our own limited perspective (Saturn). The lesson is to force yourself to slow down and give yourself enough time to process.
On a practical level, this aspect can bring some frustration. Many will feel like they are not being heard. The tendency to worry for no good reason puts a damper on thinking about a brighter future. So, plans, especially travel plans, don’t work out as anticipated. Unexpected delays and extra requirements make for slow travel. Bad for business as people are more frugal and not inclined to spend money on anything that is not absolutely necessary. Can bring unnecessary worry about health matters.
On a geopolitical level, this aspect may coincide with yet another event where the authorities dictate truth and demand immediate deference for their opinions. This is because today authority figures are more self-conscious about their lies and fear motivates them to be more controlling than usual. Everyone, including authority figures will feel their ideas being challenged more than usual today. The reason for all this is respect, Saturn demands it. And now is the time when what you say and have said in the past is up for review. You may be challenged on your viewpoint today. You may have to admit mistakes from the past in order to move forward. Or things you said in the past may prevent you from taking a step forward. The goal is to compel you to demonstrate the worthiness and lasting value (Saturn) of what you say (Mercury). It is a necessary trait that we all must develop if we want genuine respect for who we are. Don’t lie.
Hillary Clinton has this aspect in her natal chart and it is what defines her as a politician. The very controlling use of speech, limited to only those things that serve her interest in preservation and her standing, is the hallmark of her political character. Had she ever admitted to a serious mistake about her past? So we will all be interesting to see how this effects her in particular.
1:06pm – Moon (Libra) sextile Mars (Sagittarius) Get a good workout in. It will do wonders to help ease the tension of the day.
5:20pm – Venus (Virgo) square Mars (Sagittarius) Another Virgo to Sagittarius square, crisis to know a lot about many things. A tendency to be dissatisfied with your partner can produce a restless feeling. Rather than demanding to know the whole truth, try to be satisfied with what you have found. And that is because you need time to process (Virgo) new information (Sagittarius) that comes into your life. Also, like the previous square, this one brings up health issues.
The Venus to Mars square in general makes people more demanding of others. Nitpicking over details leads to no gain. This square creates a crisis to incorporate the needs of others (Venus) into our own ego (Mars). Most folks have a hard time with it, depending on how self aware you are. It’s easy for arguments to arise when you inadvertently demand someone give you what you want. It’s almost as if other people are a part of you that you can command because the boundary between self (Mars) and not-self (Venus) gets blurred until you can find a way to incorporate the two within yourself peacefully. So be extra careful how you come off towards others.
Mars in Sagittarius can be overbearing, demanding and want to know everything right away. The tendency is to want to take on more than you can handle. Overoptimism, sometimes a good trait, looks bad today because it squares Venus. So any expression of confidence must consider the needs of others, especially your partner. Avoid demanding more information than is necessary. You will need to be patient with others.
This purpose of this aspect is to integrate our individual needs into our relationships. It’s necessary and this aspect will tend to show you where things are not in balance. My general advice for today is that you scrutinize what other people tell you. Do not be swept away by someones’ idealism or their excessive criticism. Their perspective probably does not consider your ability to process what they are saying. Easy to loose our practical side, our sense of proportion, to people with a big plan to save the world. Tell them to save themselves instead.
5:19am – Moon (Libra) sextile Saturn (Sagittarius) Diplomatic and sincere, excellent for communication.
9:25am – Mercury (Virgo) opposition Neptune (Pisces) The conscious mind reaches out to the unconscious collective. Be open to impressions and psychic ability. Neptune tends to cloud out everything it touches, so today communication is cloudy, unclear, indecisive and very impressionable. How you say something is far more important that what you say today. You might be surprised by what unconscious thoughts may rise to the surface.
Easy to get carried away on idealism and perfection. Easy to be deceived. Not a good day for precise thinking or tasks that require precise use of the hands. Double-check any math you do. Neptune dissolves the thoughts in the conscious mind, so we loose mental confidence, and most importantly, loose our mental boundaries. Loosing your mental boundaries has a bad side and a good side. The bad side is the loss of ego which leaves you open to deception. The good side it that it really can be a fun ride into never never land. You need to loose your safe and secure boundaries once in a while in order to see all that you are missing. Take advantage of the heightened psychic awareness and reach out to others in a more spiritual and compassionate way. Relieve others of the need to be perfect around you and they’ll see you as a forgiving and spiritual person.
The worst side is to succumb to delusion and disappointment. To avoid this, allow yourself to escape into fantasy, turn off reality for a while and make peace with the impressions that flow into your mind. Let your mind loose the fire-wall, that preventative barrier between the conscious and subconscious.
The transit will make most people not want to get out of bed. Great for a Sunday.
4:38pm – Moon (Libra) square Pluto (Capricorn) Be cautious of behaving in a vindictive manner, if you do, you will sacrifice emotional security and diplomacy. Leads to isolationism. Look what happened to Ted Cruz last week on his Pluto square Moon transit.
5:29pm – Moon (Libra) sextile Sun (Leo) Makes for an enjoyable Sunday afternoon. Everyone is pleasant and getting their emotional needs met.
John Hinckley Jr, the man who shot President Ronald Reagan is being released from prison to live with his mother. Uranus trine Pluto. Notice Uranus square Uranus and Jupiter as well as Uranus opposition Neptune coming soon. My guess is he will not live beyond those transits. Someone will kill him, make it look like a suicide or natural causes.
Debbie Wasserman Shultz
She got into big trouble with the DNC email scandal showing how biased she and the DNC were for Hillary. Jupiter conjunct Uranus. Normally a good transit where your unique qualities are appreciated and amplified so you get a boost in power. But sometimes this transit can bring out the bad side of a person. Uranus negatively manifests like Saturn, oppressive. And it can be worse. If you don’t permit the freedom of others, and she clearly does not, then that repressive, know-it-all attitude is amplified with the Jupiter conjunction. For her it brought out forces against her. Likely this really sits in her natal 7th house. While means that Saturn is going through her 10th house. That makes sense. Interestingly the Jupiter sextile Neptune did not help her out at all. August 16, Jupiter opposition Saturn will slow her down considerably. Loss of leadership position, low vitality, needs to check in with authority figures before she can do anything.
This week she’s having Jupiter opposition Moon. Normally a nice transit that makes you feel generous towards others but it also makes you feel that others should be generous towards you as well. This transit is made all the more demanding because it’s opposite Pisces, so Jupiter has no boundaries to contain its’ expansion. The overbearing, know-it-all, negative side of Jupiter is unleashed and she becomes bombastic and professorial. She also thinks she’s really lucky. But Jupiter is not good with details so she is going to expect other people to pick up the details she’s missed. She will demand that other people see what she does not see, because Pisces rules things that are hidden. She needs to watch what she eats and drinks, easy to overindulge with this transit.
And because Jupiter is now going through her 11th house, she now sees herself as a religious (Jupiter) leader for the progressive (Aquarius) movement in society. So this transit might be a bit more frustrating than the norm for her.
Add to that the Sun is soon to conjunct her Mars, Pluto and Saturn over the next week, so she is going to be more demanding and headstrong than usual. This is probably the worst time to be a close aid of Hillary Clinton.
Bashar al Assad
Last week I mentioned a story about him getting lucky with the changing political climate in Turkey. Pluto trine Uranus (8th house). Very lucky for him. I show him because despite being leader of the most war torn nation on earth at the moment, he is having a string of Pluto transits that just won’t quit. Somehow, some way, he seems to get saved just when all seems lost.
