Weekly Astrology Notes Dec 24-31, 2017
Note: Times shown are in Pacific Daylight Time (PDT)
Big News: A grand conjunction of Sun Venus and Pluto in Capricorn on Jan 9. Disclosure is coming.
Welcome back after a one week break. I am excited about the coming year and have lots of plans in the works. It’s the last week of 2017 and this weeks’ forecast includes Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as well as New Years Eve.
Overall, it’s a mellow low-energy week ahead. The biggest aspect this week is Mars trine Neptune on Wednesday, which pretty much sets the tone of this whole week, being the last week of the year and many folks are taking time off from work. This is just the calm before a major event that is about to unfold in early January which I will discuss at the end of the video. I have some great news to share with you this week.
Weekly Summary: Christmas Eve is a great time to be with friends and family, but Christmas Day is a bit more traditional and low key with Venus conjunct Saturn. Tuesday is a bit more energetic with Moon in Aries. But Wednesday our energy level lowers a bit, may even be a bit delusional, not a day for ego gratification as Mars trine Neptune has us concerned with being of service to humanity. And Thursday is blissful with Moon in Taurus giving us some wonderful aspects to help us feel grounded to Mother Earth. A good day for a hike in the woods or walk along the beach. The same for Friday as a long Void of Course Moon in Taurus means we need to ground and reconnect to the earth, not start new projects. Moon in Gemini keeps us busy this coming weekend. We have a Full Moon on New Year’s Eve, sure to bring out the usual struggle for fulfillment, but the Moon is V/C in the evening so things may not go as planned and Moon enters Cancer just after midnight and folks will likely want to go home early and crawl into their shell.
At the end of this video I have some wonderful news to share with you about an upcoming synchronicity that may prove to be one of the most amazing events in human history. The first two weeks of January give us the most incredible confluence of aspects. I am talking about official disclosure of intelligent extra-terrestrial life. I have a long discussion at the end of the video.
I have a second video this week on the Winter Solstice 2017 and Saturn in Capricorn.
On Sunday, Christmas Eve. Moon in Pisces gives us lots of aspects to help us make lots of compassionate connections, able to overlook the bad side in others, see life through rose colored glasses. So this Sunday is a great day to visit friends and family.
On Monday, Christmas Day. Venus conjunct Saturn makes it a quiet, restrained day, with focus on tradition. Long V/C from yesterday evening until late this afternoon. Makes it slow day, struggle for fulfillment.
On Tuesday, Moon (Aries) keeps the day upbeat and energetic, ready to start new projects, good time for travel or social gatherings in the early evening.
On Wednesday, Mars trine Neptune and it’s time to be of service to the rest of humanity.
On Thursday, An excellent day. Moon in Taurus provides us with a wonderful sets of aspects to help us feel grounded to Mother Earth. Time to connect with nature, go for a hike in the woods or a walk along a beach.
On Friday, Moon in Taurus has us finishing project that we’ve already started. A Long Void of Course starts early morning and continues until past midnight. Not a day for starting new projects.
On Saturday, Moon in Gemini keeps us busy today, moving from one thing to the next. Good to use your hands for some creative endeavor to alleviate the restless feelings. Good time for writing, making speeches, solving mental problems.
On Sunday, Moon in Gemini continues to stimulate the mind, bring bright ideas, good intuition, ability to overcome inhibitions and chart your own course. New Year’s Eve brings us the Full Moon, so it’s sure to be a lively occasion, but folks will likely go home early as Moon in Cancer just after midnight has folks wanting to crawl into their shell.
Christmas Eve. Moon in Pisces gives us lots of aspects to help us make lots of compassionate connections, able to overlook the bad side in others, see life through rose colored glasses.
1:09am – Moon (Pisces) trine Mars (Scorpio) Deep feelings of commitment, lots of energy for sex.
5:44am – Moon conjunct Neptune (Pisces) Feeling (Moon) like you are part of the collective (Neptune), very warm and compassionate.
8:31am – Moon (Pisces) square Mercury (Sagittarius) Mind is active and restless, open to anything.
1:20pm – Moon (Pisces) trine Jupiter (Scorpio) Emotions expand and we have a good attitude, sharing in the collective.
6:48pm – Moon (Pisces) sextile Pluto (Capricorn). Emotions recharge and we feel like helping others. Void of Course begins, continues until late tomorrow afternoon. Another long V/C.
9:26pm – Venus enters Capricorn. Until Jan 19. Well it looks like we will be dealing with our insecurities during this placement. Venus in Capricorn makes it hard to share yourself with others, tend to expect a lot from others, openly feelings are repressed, but behind closed doors they come out with a lot of sensual, earthly energy. During this time we are totally restructuring the way we relate to others, consequently we are not as available for other as usual. Very reserved. More about this with the Saturn conjunction tomorrow.
We are more mature and responsibility in our one to one affairs. The flirty nature of Sagittarius is in stark contrast to the controlling, reputation-oriented Venus in Capricorn.
But more than anything else, we are very receptive (Venus) to anyone who can help us assimilate the Saturn in Capricorn energy, someone to help us get a grip (Capricorn) on life.
Partnerships go through a period of testing and restructuring, those that don’t meet our needs are cast away.
Christmas Day. Venus conjunct Saturn makes it a quiet, restrained day, with focus on tradition. Long V/C from yesterday evening until late this afternoon. Makes it slow day, struggle for fulfillment.
9:55am – Venus conjunct Saturn (Capricorn) It’s a sobering aspect, keeps us restrained. It could bring up a lot of insecurities. It’s more a time of therapy, like all Saturn conjunctions, as we are going within to restructure ourselves, so we are not as available for others as usual. What we are really looking for, as mentioned previously, is someone who is steady and solid to help us get a grip on life. We are more attracted to older, wiser people, someone to give us a sense of continuity, reassurance. We are very interested in tradition and want to make a respectable presentation of ourselves for all traditional events. But that will do little to quell the acute sense of isolation this aspect brings. Some folks really just don’t want to be with others today.
The double dose of Saturn energy on Venus brings a time of testing for relationships. Ones that have not lived up to expectations are cast away now. The need for security is so strong now that insecure people are pushed away. You really just want to be around the important people in your life right now.
Integrity becomes an important issue now, we want to see it in ourselves and require it of others as well. Venus is concerned with the concept of being wholesome. Venus rules Taurus so it wants physical and financial security, you want all of you stuff in a place that’s easily accessible, putting up guardrails around your comfort zone, not letting anyone in unless it’s for your benefit. Venus also rules Libra, the not-self, in this case wholesome means having the sense that there is nothing missing in your life, having a partner is the most basic of these needs, but it goes beyond that to include partnerships and any situation where you are truly in a balanced symbiosis with another person, whomever you are equal with.
So we want wholesomeness now. We are looking to establish and restructure (Saturn) our comfort zone (Venus/Taurus), take stock of our personal possessions, make sure they are secure. We are looking to see if our personal relationships are in order and if they give us that sense of completeness that we need. So if you don’t have wholesomeness in your life now, life seems hard to maintain, lots of insecurities arise, brings on isolationism. Consequently this is a very sobering aspect that makes you think a lot about your life, your personal goals, what really makes you happy, not others around you, not what society expects, but what makes you happy on a very personal level. Great insight can be gained by watching your own behavior, things that upset you, it’ll give you clues to what’s missing in your life and you’ll probably have good insight as to how to change the situation for the better.
4:27pm – Moon enters Aries. The Long V/C since yesterday evening ends this afternoon. We are more energetic and headstrong for the next couple of days. Instinctual and self-directed.
5:44pm – Moon (Aries) square Saturn (Capricorn) Duty and obligation (Capricorn) interferes with/inhibits personal expression/identity (Aries). Emotions contract. Feeling judgmental. Eat a warm meal.
6:30pm – Moon (Aries) square Venus (Capricorn) A bit more of the same, not the best time for social gatherings on Christmas evening.
Moon (Aries) keeps the day upbeat and energetic, ready to start new projects, good time for travel or social gatherings in the early evening.
1:20am – Moon (Aries) square Sun (Capricorn). First Quarter Moon. Monthly crisis to establish the foundation for this months growth process. Crisis for fulfillment means willingness to attend to duty and obligations first before asserting yourself is necessary to get that foundation started.
6:26pm – Moon (Aries) trine Mercury (Sagittarius) An inspirational time, ready to bring forth new ideas, lots of communication, sharing the news of the day, good time for travel and social gatherings.
Mars trine Neptune and it’s time to be of service to the rest of humanity.
2:25am – Moon (Aries) square Pluto (Capricorn) Crisis for achievement, reputation.
12:57pm – Moon conjunct Uranus (Aries) A curious mind, interested in the unusual. A strong bolt of ambition, time to modernize (Uranus) your emotional space (Moon). Time to update yourself. Get in touch with your higher self (Uranus). Do something surprising. Liberate yourself from a stagnant situation, seek new modes of expression. Makes us restless early Wednesday afternoon, very much into ourselves and where we need to go in life. Good aspect to accompany the Mars aspect. Gives us a need to be part of a community (Uranus). Void of Course begins, last until late this evening.
10:00pm – Mars (Scorpio) trine Neptune (Pisces) A psychological complex is healed through helping others. Not at all an aggressive Mars aspect. The desire (Mars) is to feel connected to the collective (Neptune), so individuality become secondary. Ego energies are low, feel like helping someone. Also we feel more spiritual, identify with the compassionate side of ourselves.
In these signs, this aspect takes on a more powerful expression. Mars has a lot of energy and stamina in Scorpio and seeks to express itself in a competent and passionate manner. The trine to Neptune gives a broad range of expression, desire (Mars) to heal (Scorpio) the world (Neptune), help the disadvantaged, maybe even get a savior (Neptune) complex. But really the idea to try and heal the psychological complexes and not get a new one. Neptune helps us reclaim some lost element of yourself. This is an excellent aspect for energy healers, like myself, folks who are into Reiki and aura healing, it’s one of the best aspects for that. Scorpio is very sensual and loves to stroke, so it’s a great aspect for body work like massage and Bowen therapy or any of the multitude of modalities meant to mend the mind-body connection.
I am seeing this aspect as part of a powerful motivations force meant to help carry us over the threshold during this Moon cycle as Saturn enters Capricorn. Symbolic of the graduation from 3rd to 4th quadrant we are currently going through, going from expansion and learning to transcending self and doing what is right for yourself and the rest of humanity. We need to be more transcendental in our ways, not fixated on our personal issues. This aspect helps us dissolve our personal issues so we can be of service to the rest of humanity, something we really must do this Moon cycle.
10:23pm – Moon enters Taurus. Moon is exalted in Taurus where the slow, steadfast and sensual energy of Taurus enables the Moon to develop meaningful bonds. Dedicate yourself to what gives you personal pleasure in life for the next couple of days. Get a massage.
An excellent day. Moon in Taurus provides us with a wonderful sets of aspects to help us feel grounded to Mother Earth. Time to connect with nature, go for a hike in the woods or a walk along a beach.
12:03am – Moon (Taurus) trine Saturn (Capricorn) Middle of the night, emotions slow, time to get in tune with earth energy, which helps ground the body body. When you energetically connect to the crystalline core of planet earth, it pulls your spirit more into your body and expel extraneous energy from your aura, something we could all use at this time.
5:37am – Moon (Taurus) trine Venus (Capricorn) Thursday morning, more of the same, earth trine gives us that grounding and sensual connection to Mother Earth. Feels and heart align.
10:47am – Moon (Taurus) trine Sun (Capricorn) Thursday mid-morning, the creative energy flows easily, our personal crisis seems to dissolve into the earth, everyone is easy-going.
6:35pm – Moon (Taurus) sextile Neptune (Pisces) The best aspect for rock medicine, working with crystals and healing stones.
7:29pm – Moon (Taurus) opposition Mars (Scorpio) Fixed and volatile emotions emerge. Watch out, the bull is ready to charge, best not to provoke him/her. With this aspect, once a person gets going, it’s hard to stop. Like to charge ahead full steam. Good for coupling with your partner, but can make for stubborn confrontations.
Moon in Taurus has us finishing project that we’ve already started. A Long Void of Course starts early morning and continues until past midnight. Not a day for starting new projects.
2:22am – Moon (Taurus) opposition Jupiter (Scorpio) Expansive, biting off more than you can chew, poor judgment.
6:00am – Moon (Taurus) trine Pluto (Capricorn). Void of Course begins. Long V/C. Continues all day until just after midnight. In the morning, a strong burst of energy, looking for achievement, keen to opportunities for prosperity and advancement. Can be a transformative force for the better in someone’s life.
Moon in Gemini keeps us busy today, moving from one thing to the next. Good to use your hands for some creative endeavor to alleviate the restless feelings. Good time for writing, making speeches, solving mental problems catching up on missed connections.
12:31am – Moon enters Gemini. Long V/C ends just past midnight. Gemini is adaptable, likes to move from one thing to the next quickly, so Moon in Gemini can make folks restless and always looking for the next thing to focus their attention. This is challenging because it deprives the Moon of the commitment it needs to build lasting emotional bonds. Since Gemini rules the hands, the remedy is to channel the restless energy using your hands in some creative way. Using the energy of Gemini to build something meant to last causes a fundamental shift in consciousness for the better. So when you feel restless, use your hands to focus on a long-term creative project, like writing or playing music or artwork. In this way the restless energy does not deprive the Moon of the feeling of commitment that it needs.
7:36pm – Moon (Gemini) square Neptune (Pisces) Hard to focus, the mind wanders into fantasy and escapism, concerned about the stuff you don’t see, easy to delude yourself. It helps to be of service to others, because you need to sacrifice you emotional space for a cause greater than yourself.
Moon in Gemini continues to stimulate the mind, bring bright ideas, good intuition, ability to overcome inhibitions and chart your own course. New Year’s Eve brings us the Full Moon, so it’s sure to be a lively occasion, but folks will likely go home early as Moon in Cancer just after midnight has folks wanting to crawl into their shell.
4:29am – Moon (Gemini) opposition Mercury (Sagittarius) Communication becomes a challenge with Mercury opposition Gemini, hard to find the right words. Conscious thought process is short circuited by unconscious impulses. Easy to say the wrong thing. You can’t hide your thoughts.
3:38pm – Moon (Gemini) sextile Uranus (Aries). Sunday afternoon is electric, bright ideas, good intuition, able to overcome inhibitions and chart your own course. This combination of Gemini and Uranus is particularly good for the mind, insecurities dissolve when you can evolve beyond them. More psychic, able to connect to others in a profound way. Good time for social gatherings. Void of Course begins. Continues until just past midnight.
This is a great aspect to be having as New Year’s Eve festivities are just starting about now, especially on the East Coast. The Moon is still Void of Course at the stroke of midnight, but enters Cancer just 10 minutes past midnight. The aspects for the Moon just after midnight have the Moon in Cancer opposing 3 planets in Capricorn, so folks will likely go home early, crawl into their shell, despite the approaching Full Moon, which occurs in the late afternoon on January 1.
That’s all for this weeks’ aspects.
Heads up to all my viewers, I am working on a second video for this week entitled Winter Solstice 2017 and Saturn enters Capricorn. Some of my viewers have been asking for an analysis of the full year, so I decided to start off with something for the next 3 months.
There is a lot to consider for Saturn in Capricorn. On a personal level, this restructuring that we are all going through now is very important. I cannot understate this fact. There is a real change that has now occurred in the world and we all need to learn how stand up again in the new paradigm that has emerged, especially for those of us in the USA. Many of us, including myself, really feel the need to begin this new cycle by getting in touch with your higher purpose, your soul purpose. But in general, it’s a time of sober realizations about the world and your place in it. As we begin this new, very important phase of life, we see that in early January we are having a series of incredible aspects.
The first two weeks of January will be amazing.
On January 1 the Supermoon.
Tuesday Jan 2, Sun sextile Neptune and Uranus goes Direct.
Wednesday Jan 3, Venus sextile Neptune.
Saturday Jan 6, Mercury trine Uranus and Mars conjunct Jupiter.
Monday Jan 8, Sun sextile Jupiter, Venus sextile Jupiter, Mars sextile Pluto and Sun conjunct Venus.
Tuesday Jan 9, Venus conjunct Pluto, Sun conjunct Pluto, Venus sextile Mars, and Sun sextile Mars. This day includes a grand conjunction of Sun, Venus and Pluto at 1am PDT.
That’s 12 positive aspects in 9 days, 8 in 2 days!
Friday Jan 12, Mercury conjunct Saturn.
Saturday Jan 13, Venus square Uranus.
Sunday Jan 14, Sun square Uranus.
Monday Jan 15, Jupiter sextile Pluto. The culmination of all of the aspects.
This is the most incredible confluence of aspects I have ever seen since starting this channel 2.5 years ago. I have very high hopes for this period. We really need to pay attention to the potential benefits here. Focusing on the predominant theme, we see the sextile from Scorpio to Capricorn highlighted. This sextile is all about utilizing (Capricorn) collective resources (Scorpio) in an adaptable and progressive manner (Gemini/Aquarius). So we should be very keen towards using our access to collective resources as a means to achieve success. The key word is opportunities. We all should be looking for them now. The crypto currency chorus will hit an high note. It looks to me like they will become extremely popular very soon. In addition, there is sure to be major economic news around this time. This sextile is all about seizing the moment. The age old phrase “Carpe Diem” really captures the spirit of this moment. Plans that have been in the works for a while suddenly come forward and are announced. No one is shy about coming forth now to show the world their competence and the power they can wield, especially those with esoteric or hidden knowledge.
Most intriguing is the potential for something esoteric (Scorpio) to come forward around this time. You may have noticed the recent revelations regarding disclosure of extra terrestrial life. I will leave several links in the description, but basically NASA and the Pentagon have suddenly decided to come out with little bits of news regarding extra terrestrial visitors. But most folks don’t seem to care. It’s just amazing how numb and skeptical people have become. But it is true and we are all about to get that information. It’s going to shatter our notion of who we are.
Before we get it though, we can be sure that this is all planned and the way the information will be rolled out will be according to the plans of the new authority structure coming in with Saturn in Capricorn, exactly what we’d expect. I go into more detail in my next video on the Winter Solstice coming out in another day or so. Saturn in Sagittarius wore the cloak of invisibility during its’ death cycle, and now at the start of the new cycle, the authority comes out into the open, in full light for everyone to see. So that’s why I am sure this has been planned all along. The great falls of many in politics and news and entertainment has all been distracting us from the real changes going on beneath the surface. This set of aspect we see coming up has more potential for official disclosure than anything I’ve seen before. So get ready folks, it’s coming. We are being prepared now with these small releases, the big release is coming soon.
Most incredible of all is this amazing grand conjunction of Sun, Venus and Pluto at 19d Capricorn makes a close sextile to Mars and Jupiter. That’s astonishing. Let’s start with this grand conjunction. Pluto transforms, fixes, repairs, reforms, regenerates, it rules the death-rebirth process. The Sun is you, your creative will. Venus is your relationship to others. We are looking at nothing less than a complete transformation of who we are and our relationship to one another. We will not look at one another the same after this day. A complete restructuring of who we are in concert with all of this transformation (Scorpio). The sextiles to Mars and Jupiter in Scorpio means that this transformation is brought about in a Scorpio way. Deep, esoteric, psychological implications, death-rebirth, like a volcano that erupts and transforms the landscape. This is the moment we have all been waiting for, disclosure is coming.
Please check your birth chart and see what this is doing transit wise to you. This is a moment of a deep conscious awareness coming alive in each of us, and it is bound to have a profound effect upon each of as individuals.
So I give this to you all a bit early, something to ponder this week as we move into the New Year.
That’s all for this week.
